I just received an e-mail "revealing a secret code" you can use if you're ever forced to withdraw from an ATM during a robbery. Being of the skeptical sort, I checked the story out at snopes.com - and you can too: http://www.snopes.com/business/bank/pinalert.asp

What further amused me about the e-mail I received was that it referred to a "PIN number" and "ATM machine". I was expecting it to say something about a "one-year anniversary".
